Experience
Shawn M. Howard is a partner currently based in the firm’s Bethesda, Maryland office and the firm's Tax Practice Leader. He has extensive experience providing various tax services including the review of federal and multi-state tax returns, and tax strategies for a variety of domestic and international clients, including government contractors, professional services firms, technology companies, and private equity firms.
Shawn specializes in taxation and issues surrounding partnerships, limited liability companies (LLCs), corporations, S Corporations, and their related shareholders or members.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Shawn held partner and senior management positions at leading accounting and professional services firms. He initially began his accounting career working for a CPA firm in Milwaukee.
