Experience
Chris Brown is an audit partner with over 30 years of experience advising a broad range of Fortune 500 companies, institutional investors, and middle-market investment firms in the real estate, private equity, and financial services industries. He provides his clients with services including financial statement audits, accounting advisory, risk management, regulatory compliance, and business performance improvement.
Prior to joining Citrin Cooperman, Chris was a partner and Assurance and Advisory Services Practice leader at Mitchell & Titus, LLP, a BDO Alliance USA member firm, and member firm of Ernst & Young Global Limited (2006 - 2015). He previously served in various leadership roles at the firm, including as managing partner of their New York office, executive committee member, and chair of their quality and risk committee.
Chris' clients include institutional investors, corporate pension funds, private equity funds, real estate companies, investment management and strategic growth companies. Chris has extensive experience assisting his clients with meeting regulatory and financial reporting requirements, including the enhancement of internal controls.
